In 1987 Marge and Tom took a 1966 BMW 75/5 Motorcycle to the Expo 87 in Vancouver, Canada.  Marge had only been on a motorcycle a few times and had never been on a long trip.  The photo below is the morning we left.

Not a lot to see going up the 5 Freeway.  Out first stop was crossing the Golden Gate Bridge.

Our next stop up the coast was "Trees of Mystery" in the Redwood Forest.

Next stop is somewhere in Oregon.

Finally made it.  Expo 87

The car/plane was our favorite.

End of the Expo and headed home.  The trip went pretty much without incident except we were out by Ridgecrest in the middle of nowhere when a tire went flat.  We had to fix it or stay there.  It took a couple of hours and we were on our way home.
