More Cozumel
Downtown New Orleans early morning of our return. Stayed overnight in Tallahassee, Florida. From there went north to Thomasville, Georgia.
On the way is the Pebble Hill Plantation, one of the largest plantations still in existence. Over 9000 acres of land and a 25000 sf home. Main house and the grounds. School house for the Children and the plantation workers. Noah's Ark. Playhouse for the Children.
We are now in Daytona Beach for Daytona Bike Week. Mardi Gras for Bikers. This is Main Street, Daytona Beach in Bike Week 2010. These are Marge's new BEST friends. Tom and Marge at an outdoor bar. Notice what the bartender is wearing. People in the balconies are throwing beads. Just like Mardi Gras. The Budweiser Horses had to be in the parade. Marge's favorite standing spot. Visiting Daytona's beach. At Daytona's Harley Davidson dealer. Bike Week here also.
Next stop is Saint Augustine. Oldest city in the US. It has the oldest fort in the US. Marge is standing in front of the oldest school in the US. We had lunch here at the Cracker Cafe.
We are staying at Beverly Beach RV Park. Approx 21 miles north of Daytona Beach. We are on the beach with the view east overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Very Good location. Tom and Marge at the Beach. This is the first time Tom has ever been in the Atlantic Ocean.

We had to leave Daytona Beach in a hurry. Tornadoes were on the ground and heading for us. Driving south on the Highway 95 headed for: Cape Canaveral(Titusville)
Marge has always wanted to go to the "Kennedy Space Center" aka KSC. Marge always finds the Alligators. This is the loading arm Neal Armstrong used for the walking on the moon trip.
Cocoa Beach - Spent most of the day sitting and watching on the Cocoa Beach Pier.
Homestead Florida - Goldcoaster Mobile Home Park. This park was completely destroyed during Hurricane Andrew.
Universal City, Orlando

Final stop of the trip. Roswell. Downtown Marge and her new friends. The only photo of the Alien. This is the last stop. There were no campsites in Roswell so we stayed at "Wal-Mart". |
